Thorens has been one of my favorite turntable manufacturers since I bought a TD 115 from a coworker in 1988. He was upgrading to another model and sold me the turntable for about what the new Shure ME95ED Cartridge on it was worth at the time. (chich it didn't really need) for cleaning, a new belt and a new
Shure M97xE Cartridge (one of the best under $75 cartridges to be had. You can spend more for Ortofon Cartridges or Denon Cartridges, but the sound sure doesn't get much better than the trusty Shure.
